Tuition assistance was reinstated Oct. 21 for Marines to use in accordance with previously released MARADMIN 456/13.

Due to the government shutdown, tuition assistance was unavailable for 21 days, starting Oct. 1.

“Marines are encouraged to submit their applications starting Oct. 21.,” Bart Macmillan, an education and career specialist with Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, said.

The Education Center will continue to follow the updated guidelines for the Tuition Assistance Program effective Oct. 1., which can be found in MARADMIN 456/13.

For more information, Marines should contact their base’s Education and Career Services.
