Medical/Dental Readiness: 

The company will send out individualized readiness reports to each member every 2 weeks to let the member know of any delinquent requirements.

If delinquent, action items at your local facility

*For those utilizing Rader Health Clinic, all requirements aside from dental are available on a walk-in basis.

If seeing a discrepancy, MRRS can be slow to reflect, or your local aid stations may have not inputted requirements. To have items run in MRRS, if your local medical stations will not, contact the S-3 via email to receive the battalion corpsman information. 

CONUS Leave:

Per MCO 1050.3J unless driving, all leave will begin at 1630 and end at 0800

Standard leave is approved on the section level by designated personnel assigned leave approver permissions.

If your section does not have leave approver, route request to Company Commander, Company 1stSgt, or Company Executive Officer. In MOL request, always annotate supervisor of member that is tracking member will be executing leave.

OCONUS Leave:

Review Electronic Foreign Clearance Guide for specific requirements based on location, APACS Site. Provide requirements in the following format:​

Route MOL request to Company CO, Company 1stSgt, or Company XO once completed. We will check for everything and send it to Battalion CO recommending approval. 

In MOL request, always include supervisor’s recommendation to ensure they are tracking member will be executing leave.

Liberty:

Special liberty outside of Battalion prescribed holidays can be approved by the first O6 in the chain of command.

Special Liberty Out of Bounds: Route MOL request to Company CO or Company XO.

PTAD:

All PTAD requests are processed through Company Office (Company CO, Company 1stSgt, or Company XO).

In MOL request, always include supervisor’s recommendation to ensure they are tracking member will be executing PTAD.

Convalescent Leave:

All convalescent leave is routed through Company Office (Company CO, Company 1stSgt, or Company XO).

Attach medical convalescent leave paperwork to MOL request.

Unit Transition Coordinator: 

All Active Duty (AD) and Reserve Component (RC) Marines MUST complete mandatory Initial Counseling and Pre-separation Counseling, beginning 24 months from retirement, or 18 months from separation, demobilization, or deactivation, but no later than 12 months prior to separation, retirement, demobilization, or deactivation. (MARADMIN 632-19)

Planning to submit a RELM or currently having a RELM submitted does not negate you from adhering to the guidance listed above. These guidelines must be followed until the Marines’ EAS date changes.
