Checking In and Out Process

Check-In Process:
  • Check-In Hours:

    • Check-out from Henderson Hall is available during work hours on weekdays.

    • If checking in after hours, report to the Officer of the Day (OOD) at (202) 439-5941. Ensure your check-in is annotated in the logbook and on your orders.

  • Initial Check-In Location:

    • Begin at the S-1 office, located on the 3rd floor of Building 29, Room 305.

    • At this location, you will receive a check-in sheet and a map to assist you in navigating between Buildings 12, 28, and 29.

  • Dress Code:

    • Personnel must check in wearing Service Alpha's.

  • Sequence of Check-In Steps:

    • Before proceeding to S-6, check in with the Security Manager to avoid delays and confirm your MCEN account is properly set up.

  • Required Documents:

    • Ensure you have an up-to-date Cyber Awareness Certificate along with the PII CertificateCyberM0000 Certificate, or Cyber Intel.

  • Initial Check-Out Location:

    • To begin the check-out process, report to the S-1 office, located on the 3rd floor of Building 29, Room 305.

    • At this location, you will receive a check-out sheet and a map to assist you in navigating between Buildings 12, 28, and 29.

  • Check-Out Sheet Requirement:

    • A check-out sheet is mandatory for personnel conducting a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) from Henderson Hall. This applies to individuals traveling within the National Capital Region (NCR), including Quantico and Ft. Meade.

  • Outbound Interview:

    • During the check-out process, all personnel will participate in an outbound interview with the S-1 office.

  • Role-Specific Requirements:

    • Non-SNCO/Officer Personnel: You are required to meet with the Barracks Manager during the check-out process.

    • Enlisted Personnel: You must meet with the Career Planner before completing check-out process.

    • SNCO Personnel: You are required to meet with the Battalion Sergeant Major (Bn SgtMaj) prior to departure.
