PS1 Arndrico Tripp, is a native of Bainbridge, Georgia. He graduated from Bainbridge High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in October 1994. PS1 Tripp received his A.A. in General Studies from Central Texas College 2013.
PS1 Tripp completed Recruit Training at the Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, IL in November 1994. Upon completion of Apprenticeship Training, he was assigned to USS RAINER (AOE- 7) homeported in Bremerton, Washington in January 1995. While there he worked as a Deck Seaman for Deck Department. From March - May 1999 he attended and completed YN “A” School in Meridian, MS., In May of 1999, he transferred to VFA-106 in Oceana, Virginia where he advanced to Yeoman 3rd Class. In June of 2001, he transferred to the USS Thomas S. Gates in Pascagoula, MS where he advanced to Yeoman 2nd Class and then converted to Personnel Specialist 2nd class. In June of 2004 he transferred to PSD Naval Station Jacksonville, FL where he was awarded Sailor of the Quarter 2005. In July 2008, PS1 Tripp transferred to the USS Ronald Reagan where he advanced to Personnel Specialist First Class and served as LPO of the Admin Department. Currently PS1 Tripp is serving as Senior Enlisted Adviser Navy and Marine Corps Appellate Leave Activity, at the Washington Navy Yard in DC.
PS1 Tripp’s personal awards and medals include: Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four gold stars), Battle Efficiency ribbon (four awards), Good Conduct Award (four awards), National Defense Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (four stars), Enlisted Surface Warfare insignia and the Enlisted Aviation Warfare insignia.
PS1 Tripp is married to Dorian Tripp of Moss Point, Mississippi and they have four children: Devin, DeRico, Dylan and Dallas.
