U.S. Marine GySgt. Eric Cheshier, Marine of Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC), receives an award from Henry P. Stawinski III, Chief of Police of Prince George County, as a tribute from the county for emulating outstanding citizenship in Bowie, Md, July 25, 2018,. Gunnery Sgt. Eric Cheshier was awarded the outstanding citizenship award due to his act of heroism during a three car collision on a busy highway on October 17th, 2017 where he rescued a woman who presumably passed out in her car as it caught fire and recused a young teenaged female along with her younger siblings from another car as well.
