Last night Judge Advocate Division said farewell to MGySgt Scott Goss (15th Legal Services Chief of the Marine Corps).  We also hailed and said goodbye to several Marines coming to and leaving JAD this summer.  The event was at the Right Proper Brewing Company in NW D.C. Pictured are the SJA to the Commandant with MGySgt Goss as well as some of the Marines who were recognized.
Eleven international students from the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS) Military Justice course and their escorts received briefs about the Joint Service Committee on Military Justice, the Military Justice Review Group, and the Military Justice Act of 2016 at the Judge Advocate Division library on Friday, 19 May 17. The international students were from the following countries: Guinea, Moldova, Djibouti, Gabon, Lithuania, Algeria, Mali, Pakistan, Mali, Azerbaijan, and Republic of Congo.

SJA to Commandant makes remarks  to an audience of 14 international officer students from the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS) Military Justice course and their 3 escorts at the Judge Advocate Division on Friday, 13 Nov 15. The fourteen international officer students are a mix of O-1 through O-6 military lawyers, and one civilian attorney, from Albania, Nigeria, Philippines, Columbia, Egypt, Georgia, Kenya, Lithuania, Mongolia, Pakistan, Papua-New Guinea, Slovak Republic, and Swaziland.
