The S/ES COI is committed to helping members grow professionally by providing developmental opportunities throughout their careers.
COI members are encouraged to work with their manager and/or mentor to identify a plan to help attain professional goals. When identifying a goal, remember to think strategically. Ask yourself: what technology, competency, or skill will the Marine Corps need in the future? COI members should consider selecting a combination of developmental actions for career progression through a variety of sources (e.g., training, education, on-the-job experience, etc.). Your managers may contact the COI to explore whether funding is available for targeted training opportunities required by your job for successful performance.
