Aswan, Egypt on 24 June 2012 after the Egyptian elections commission officially announced Mohamed Morsi as the country's democratically elected president. The energy and emotion of Tahrir Square that started the January 2011 revolution extended all the way down to the southern portion of the country. Seen here, a kid climbs atop a statue in the city's town center waving the Egyptian flag. Egyptians of all ages united in celebrating this historical moment in their history. Photo captured by Capt Macak, MENA FAO, on In-Country Training in Egypt.
