Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeremy A. Cieplich fires a GAU-21/A .50 caliber machine gun mounted in an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter at simulated enemy personnel during live-fire, close-air support training Dec. 10 at Farallon de Medinilla Target Range, Northern Mariana Islands. The MH-60Ss are currently forward deployed to the island of Tinian, coordinating with Marine Corps units during Exercise Forager Fury II. FF II is an aviation training relocation event intended to meet U.S.-Japan bilateral goals such as reduced local impacts by dispersing the training to other areas and increased operational readiness. Cieplich is a naval aircrewman with Helicopter Sea Attack Squadron 25 based out of Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
