Corporal Tim Stark, a squad leader with 81mm Mortar Platoon, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment scans for insurgents who opened fire on the Marines, Feb. 13, during Operation Moshtarak. Marines and Afghan forces launched the assault against the Taliban held city of Marjah, Afghanistan in an attempt to route insurgents from what is suspected to be one of their last remaining strongholds in Helmand province.
