Brig. Gen. Margaret A. Brewer, the first female Marine general, passed away Jan. 2, at the age of 82. A 10 a.m. funeral Mass will be offered Jan. 14 at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington, Va., where Brewer was a parishioner.
